In today’s economy, non-profit organizations are looking for unique ways to raise funds – especially ways that limit their supporters reaching back into their pockets (time and time again) for their hard earned cash. Fundinco.org allows non-profit organizations to raise money through their supporters shopping at one of the world’s largest online retailers.
“This year, although Black Friday and Cyber Monday were both very successful alone, our non-profit organizations saw significant increases the entire second half of November,” said Kelly Mahoney, Fundinco.org’s Director of Sales. As online retailers look to expand upon their revenues, they are beginning to launch deals that start prior to Black Friday and extend all the way through the holiday shopping season. With this type of an approach, Fundinco.org’s member organizations are able to increase their fundraising revenue across both November and December. Several sources have already reported double-digit growth in Cyber Monday online sales.
Furthermore, Fundinco.org has found that supporters are ordering higher value items compared with the same period in the previous year. This is the year of the tablet, digital cameras, and flat screen TVs - all of which earn significant fundraising revenue for non-profit organizations when their supporters shop for these products through Fundinco.org.
To assist non-profit organizations in spreading the word, Fundinco.org provides a customized holiday marketing guide including customized email / newsletter content. Non-profits simply cut and paste the content into their own emails and hit send. “Spreading the word and consistently reminding supporters about the program is critical to capturing significant fundraising revenue through this program,” said Kelly Mahoney. This year, Fundinco.org also brought back its Jingle Incentive program – which incentivizes non-profits to spread the word about the program to their supporter base.
